Klimno is a small port village located on the northern part of Island Krk, along the southern shore of Soline Bay. It is the largest settlement on the bay's shores.
Klimno is one of the strongholds of Dobrinj’s tourism. With the church of St. Clem-ent, which the village was named after, Klimno also holds significant historical value, being first mentioned in historical records in 1381. The church of St. Clem-ent underwent renovations in 1823 and 1926. Known for its Baroque altarpiece, it is one of Croatia's many protected cultural monuments. Additionally, Klimno is notable for its maritime heritage, symbolized by a large anchor from one of the island's oldest shipyards founded in the village. This anchor is the largest on the island of Krk.
